The texture of hair, jelly-like clouds, hollowed-out stone, folded limbs, wooden torso—these imaginaries provide commentary on what and when the body is. It is a long-term project; the paintings began to appear in 2022 and continue organically, instinctively. Each mark informs the next one, and the process is a guiding force throughout. Some of the paintings are in relationships, informing the others, while some stand on their own. They can be shown in different constellations.
